It is not a single disease but it was category disease that includes hundreds of disorders regarding on our joints. Some of disorders are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Many people suffering from arthritis are caught up in a devastating cycle of pain, depression, and stress.

For the research that indicate the antioxidants vitamin C,E and beta caritene help to prevent the progression on osteoarthritis. Antioxidants help to neutralise free radical, chemical, continually formed within cells during normal metobilism that can damage cartilage and possibly cause inflammation as well. They are molecules that miss one electron. As they pass through our bodies they attack healthy cells to replace their missing electron. The attacked cell then becomes a free radical itself.

Lung Cancer is dangerous disease. Lately however, the number of women affected with lung cancer is steadily catching up with the number of men affected with the disease. By avoiding certain risk factors for lung cancer, we can reduce our chances of developing it. This is the first step in lung cancer prevention.

1) Quit smoking -Smoking is the number one risk factor for lung cancer. It is estimated that 87% of lung cancer deaths are caused by smoking. As soon as you quit, your body reaps the benefits of being tobacco free. Quitting smoking is the BEST defense against lung cancer.

2) Eat More Fruits – Eat more fruits and vegetables that should be included in your diet are apples, tomatoes, melons, mangoes, dark leafy greens and onions. Apple and onion are rich in cancer-fighting flavonoids.

3) Know what you are being exposed to in the workplace – If you are exposed to fumes, dust, chemicals, etc in the workplace, you have a right to know what you are being exposed to. Gasoline, diesel exhaust, arsenic, beryllium. vinyl chloride, nickel chromates, coal products, mustard gas, and chloromethyl ethers are all carcinogens and can be found in some work environments. Talk to your employer about limiting exposure.

4) Take a Vitamin C – Vitamin C is also good in the prevention of lung cancer. Some studies suggest that people who regularly take 140 mg or more of vitamin C have lower risk of developing lung cancer than those who only get 90 mg or less of vitamin C dosage.

5) Routine medical check-up. This should also be accompanied with prophylactic medicines and supplements. An x-ray is necessary especially for those people who smoke and are at the age of 50 and above. A chest x-ray is a preventive measure done to screen for lung cancer. A routine chest x-ray will enable doctors to diagnose lung cancer early so that proper treatment procedures will be implemented.
