Latest news that effected to Five Years old baby and a paraplegic woman who a month the four died after suffering of Swine Flu.It reported at Mirror.co.uk that mention the more cases infected to the baby currently.

The paraplegic woman died on Monday at Whipps Cross hospital in East London, shortly after giving birth. The baby’s condition has not been revealed. In a separate case, a baby of less than six months of age died at the Royal Free Hospital on July 8.

Also, 70-year-old male died at the Royal London Hospital on July 14 and another adult died at St Thomas’ Hospital on July 3. Meanwhile the death of a seven-year-old boy in Kent has also been linked to virus.

Japanese health officials reported four confirmed cases of the A/H1N1 virus stemming from an overseas flight, while Australia reported its first case but said the victim has recovered and is no longer contagious.

The reports came as health officials around the world continue to track the spread of the virus, though urgency has ebbed in recent days due to the small number of deaths. The World Health Organization said Sunday that 49 people have died 45 of them in Mexico, two in the U.S. and one each in Canada and Costa Rica. The Associated Press reported Saturday a third death in the U.S., of a man in Washington state.

Most travelers at the airport were wearing face masks, which are loose fitting and designed largely to help stop the spread of droplets from the person wearing the mask, not to protect the wearer from the virus. Respirators more close fitting, pricier masks are designed to reduce exposure to airborne particles. But there is general uncertainty, even among health professionals, about the value of wearing either during a flu outbreak.

Masks may give people a false sense of security, said Dr. Laurene Mascola, director of acute communicable disease control for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. “You would have to wear it 100% of the time that you are outside,” she said of masks and respirators.

Swine influenza (also called swine flu, hog flu, and pig flu) refers to influenza caused by those strains of influenza virus, called swine influenza virus (SIV), that usually infect pigs. Swine influenza is common in pigs in the mid western United States (and occasionally in other states), Mexico, Canada, South America, Europe (including the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Italy), Kenya, Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and other parts of eastern Asia.

Transmission of swine influenza virus from pigs to humans is not common and properly cooked pork poses no risk of infection. When transmitted, the virus does not always cause human influenza and often the only sign of infection is the presence of antibodies in the blood, detectable only by laboratory tests. When transmission results in influenza in a human, it is called zoonotic swine flu. People who work with pigs, especially people with intense exposures, are at risk of catching swine flu.
