Panic attacks come in many shapes and sizes.  They can last a few seconds or several days.  The attack can have a sudden onset or build over several hours. Panic or anxiety attacks happen to at least one out of every three people. Panic attacks are a fairly common occurrence that happen to many people, no matter what their state of health, whether they are old or young, male or female.

The main ingredient of an attack, or the root cause, is stress. So by reducing the amount of stress in your life, you can control how many panic attacks happen to you.  Take regular exercises and if appropriate go on a diet. Exercise helps not only your body to calm down, but it has a relaxing effect on the mind as well. It will also help if you avoid consuming too much caffeine or alcohol.
