The victim is must be panic while going through this situation. Choking will deprives the brain of precious oxygen. If you are sitting around of them, help them to treat the choking victim to save their life.

Looking on the victim. Are they are clutching the throat with the hands or a high-pitched wheezing sound or no speaking, forceful coughing or breathing. Standing yourself behind the victim. Reach around the choking person with both hands, as if giving him or her a bear hug from behind.

Make a fist with one hand, placing the thumb side just above the navel of the choking person. Grasp this hand with the other hand. Thrust your hands inward and upward with a quick motion. Continue thrusts in rapid succession until the object is dislodged and the person can breathe again.
