Sonography, also known as ultrasonography, is a type of diagnostic procedure using high frequency sound waves in order to generate vibrant images of blood flow, organs and tissues inside the body.

Sonography tests can be used to effectively diagnose problems with several parts of the body like the blood vessels, breasts, heart, reproductive system, heart and prostrate. Sonography tests are being used more and more to detect and treat vascular diseases, heart attacks and heart disease that could cause a stroke. Sonography can also be used to guide needles for tissue biopsies to take cell samples from the body to be tested in the lab. Because sonography is does not contain radiation, it can be used when X-rays are too dangerous.

A number of different sonography tests are used in specialized fields, such as:

1. Echocardiography
Echocardiography is a sonography test for the heart, also called a cardiac ultrasound. This test uses standard ultrasound methods to take a two-dimensional image of the heart. Now, several systems produce real-time, 3-D images. It is also used to accurately assess cardiac tissue and blood velocity at arbitrary points by using continuous wave or pulsed Doppler ultrasound.

In gastroenterology, the solid organs in the abdomen like the aorta, bile ducts, gall bladder, inferior vena cava, kidneys, liver, pancreas and spleen are viewed and examined by using abdominal sonography. Diagnostics are limited in this area because the sound waves get blocked by the gas that is in the bowel. At times, the appendix can be examined to check for appendicitis.

Blood pressure is the popular disease that we always heared. Many are does not know they have the blood pressure until it tell by the doctor. Now you are not have the problem to check your blood pressure. Now don’t wait your doctor give you the bad result about your blood pressure. You can easily check it yourself at your home.

To measure your blood pressure at home, you can use either an aneroid monitor or a digital monitor. The aneroid monitor has a dial gauge that is read by looking at a pointer. The cuff is inflated by hand, by squeezing a rubber bulb. Digital monitors have either manual or automatic cuffs. The blood pressure reading flashes on a small screen. Choose the type of monitor that best suits your needs.

Aneroid monitor is that it can easily be carried from one place to another. The cuff is built-in stethoscope, that don’t need to buy a separate stethoscope. The unit may have a special feature that makes it easier to put the cuff on with one hand. In addition, the aneroid monitor costs less than digital monitors. Aneroid monitors range in price from about $20 to $30.

The digital monitor is easier to use than the aneroid unit. It has a gauge and stethoscope that are one unit, and the numbers are easy to read. It also has an error indicator, and deflation is automatic. Inflation of the cuff is either automatic or manual, depending on the model. This blood pressure monitoring device is good for hearing-impaired patients, since there is no need to listen to heart sounds through the stethoscope. But the price is more that aneroid monitor. The cost is more about $30 to over $100.

Now you can have all the device, but how to measure? Normal blood pressure is 120/80 or lower. High blood pressure is 140/90 or higher. If your blood pressure is between 120/80 and 140/90, you have something called “prehypertension” (you are in the beginning stages and at risk of high blood pressure). If your blood is between 120/80 and 140/90 or higher, please get to your doctor and need his advice.

Sometime the question will make hard to you to answer. Especially it related with the adult matters. Maybe the question is like this ” Daddy / Mummy, where the babies coming from?”. This question may could be stress for the parents. It not to hard for you to answering this kind of question.

Do not tell to your kids how the babies is birth. Wait until your kids asking you. If they start asking you, answer your kids question in private. Let all of you sitting in a room for example. Do not answering on public. It will make shy on you also.

Answer the question with smart way. Normally kids are satisfy with the basic answered for all their question. If they need more knowledge, you should elaborate proper. Simple response sometime will make them happy. Like this ” Daddy, where the babies come from?”. You should response easily “Babies come from sex”. This simple answering might be make them satisfied.

If they asking “What is sex?”. Use real words such as Vagina, and ****. This will let them know that it is serious business. Introduce new words such as Uterus and Ovaries with a brief explanation. Your kids are smarter than you think! Remind your kids that these conversations are private. Not secret, but private. This method will make your kids understand where is babies coming from. Simple and really knowledgable.

It is often accompanied by extreme sensitivity to light and sound, nausea, and vomiting. Migraine is three times more common in women than in men.

Migraine headache is caused by a combination of vasodilatation (enlargement of blood vessels) and the release of chemicals from nerve fibers that coil around the blood vessels. During a migraine attack, the temporal artery enlarges.

Migraine is a chronic condition of recurrent attacks. Most (but not all) migraine attacks are associated with headaches. Sometimes the pain can be located in the forehead, around the eye, or the back of the head. An estimated 40%-60% of migraine attacks are preceded by premonitory (warning) symptoms lasting hours to days. The symptoms may include sleepiness, irritability, fatigue, depression or euphoria, yawning, and cravings for sweet or salty foods Migraine is often under-diagnosed and under-treated.

There is no cure for migraine. Nevertheless, there are numerous interventions that may help restore an improved life for migraine sufferers. These measures should consider the various aspects of the particular patient’s condition
